Procedure for Project Referral of Delhi Urban Art Commission

INFORMATION / DOCUMENTS / MATERIALS TO BE SUBMITTED IN RESPECT OF PROJECTS REFERRED TO DELHI URBAN ART COMMISSION

Site plan to a scale not less than 1:200. The site plan should show the physical features, contours, trees and existing structures, if any on the site and in the immediate vicinity alongwith their heights and approximate distances. It should include location plan showing the important landmarks, monuments, important roads and development in the surrounding area.

Latest site photgraphs. Minimum size 8x10 inches. Photos should show the site and the environs including, buildings, if any. The points from where the photos are taken should be indicated on a layout plan.

Detailed model (professional standard in wood or plastic) at not less than 1:200 scale for large buildings / group housing and at not less than 1:100 scale for small buildings alongwith four photos of the model from different angles (size 8x10 inches). Block model (to a suitable scale) of the overall complex in case the proposal forms part of a larger complex.

All plans and elevations with sufficient drawings to explain the design and the architectural expression (in duplicate) alongwith presentation / concept drawings, if considered necessary. Comprehensive plan of the complex, in case the proposal forms part thereof.

Statement of finishing materials to be used for elevations / façade treatment also indicating the same on elevations.

Line plan (site plan) at typical floor level for the whole complex, showing cleearly the details of internal porticos, etc., in case of group housing projects.

Report explaining the concept and functioning of the building. The special factors that influenced the design. These may include, description of the site and controls / regulations applicable including land use, height restrictions, envelop control, and parking schedule of accomodations and parking provided, percentage of coverage and FAR achieved, etc.

Drawing for the landscape proposal identifying clearly the soft areas for children in different age groups, site for planting trees, and the particular tree species. The street furniture and external light fittings, surface drainage system and the design of the boundary walls alongwith location of gates and their design. Also indicate the location of existing trees and the trees likely to be affected by the proposal.

The proposal will be processed and placed before the Commission only after receipt of complete information / documents / materials required to be submitted.
