ETPabs means Estimation Tender Processing And Billing Software. This is an integrated software, combining various aspects of our working.
Working of our field offices- be it a division or a subdivision involves a large amount of typing and repetitive work. These works may be preparing Preliminary Estimates, Detailed Estimates, Contractor Bills or various kinds of statements namely Deviation statement, Substitute item statement etc. Due to excessive repetition of documents, the work is slow and time-consuming. In the life-cycle of each work, from its inception to completion, same series of steps is repeated again and again. This makes this work a very suitable candidate for computerisation. If these steps could be carried out on a computer, it is hoped that a lot of headache would be over. Presicely due to this reason, a project has been undertaken for making a software for this purpose.
In its initial version, ETPabs will largely be an estimation software. In its later versions, addons such as bill preparation module, statement preparation module etc. shall be provided.
The software is under development.
Contact here if you wish to contribute towards development of the software or give any suggestions. The software is being made in Visual Basic.
