Publicity Directorate General Resettlement

Publicity Directorate of Directorate General Resettlement, Ministry of Defence, is responsible for projecting the policies of DGR regarding resettlement and welfare of ex-servicemen, widows and their dependants through its various publications, brochures, leaflets and advertisements. It also interacts with print and election media after obtaining clearance from Directorate of Public Relations, Ministry of Defence.

Publicity Directorate also acts as a nodal agency for implementation of policies relating to progressive us of Hindi in official work.

Some of the publications of Directorate General Resettlement published through Publicity Directorate which are distributed to Command Headquarters, Records Offices, Rajya Sainik Boards/Zila Sainik Boards and Ex-servicemen, free of cost, are as under:-

Besides the above Publicity Directorate endeavors to telecast a ‘DGR Film’ on the eve of Armed Forces Flag Day and arranges for telecast of DGR interview on Doordarshan and broadcast it on All India Radio. Three new films oj following subjects are being made on the following subjects for creating awareness amongst the common public, corporate sector and the ex-servicemen population about the various aspects of functioning of DGR:-
