Ad-hoc Task Force (ATF) is an independent, third party, body of senior experienced professional and administrative experts set up for negotiating MOU at the beginning of the year and evaluating MOU performance at the end of the year. It consists of ex Secretaries to Govt. of India, ex Chief Executives of Public Sector Enterprise, renowned academicians, economists, technical, financial and other professionals eminent persons. The present strength of the ATF is 82. It provides the backup expertise to the DPE which has only a very small MOU unit which cannot obviously have the multidisciplinary capabilities to negotiate draft MOUs for over 100 PSEs within a short span of four to six weeks.
High Power Committee
High Power Committee on MOU is a Committee of Secretaries set up under the Chairmanship of Cabinet Secretary to assess the performance of MOU signing enterprises with reference to the commitments made in the MOU. It also assesses how far the administrative ministries have been able to provide the necessary administrative and financial support committed by them in the MOU. It oversees the functioning of the MOU system, provides guidelines and gives directions to strengthen and improve the system besides taking general decisions on broader issues pertaining to the improvement of the performance of public enterprises.
